Between January and September, Paxful reported a 137% increase in new registrations in Nigeria
Recently, a regulatory directive was placed on cryptocurrency transaction in Nigeria. Following the directive, a press statement was circulated & it explained the reason for the directive stating that the existence of cryptocurrency possessed an unprecedented price volatility through a conglomeration of desperate, disparate and unregulated actors have threatened many sophisticated financial systems. Therefore, the regulatory directive was given to protect Nigeria’s financial system.
